Charlotte was really happy to see me come home after being away for almost three days. She pinned me down on the couch.

What my desk looks like when I am going to be gone for 2 days. The buckets say "Thursday," "Friday," and "things to do during plan time"
Subs must either really love me for my detailed lesson plans and organized room or really hate me for how neurotic and possessive about my classroom. I admit, I am a bit of a control freak.

The other woman
No, my husband is not cheating on me.
But, he does have a computer. That plays all sorts of games. I call it "the other woman." I call it that because I feel like he spends more time with it than with me. Also, because I think he likes it better some of the time.
It was down for a long time and let me tell you, when we thought it was dead and never to be heard from again, I was secretly (or not so secretly) thrilled. Well, the beast is back up and running and I am once again feeling replaced. And a little bit lonely.
I hate the damn thing.
