It has been a year.
A year ago today, we lost my sweet nephew to SIDS. A mystery of a diagnoses that sucks the breath out of you and makes you hurt. A beautiful, healthy little person is gone in an instant and there is nothing you can do about it, nothing more you could have done to prevent it, and no reason why it happened. You are left stunned and sad. Left feeling confused.
Miss you Dyl.
Hug your children tonight if you have them. Call your parents and tell them you love them. Life is precious and fragile.
Research safe sleep for babies if there are infants in your life. SIDS is not totally preventable but you must do everything you can to reduce the risks.

Walking the neighborhood and letting people in Oregon, Wisconsin know that my Uncle is an awesome judge. If you live there, vote for him.

This photo was taken after I had gotten out of bed and was soon to leave for work. Charlotte had not moved. I guess she wanted to sleep in.

There has been tons of rain and ducks were swimming in the puddles next to the road by my house.
