Learning new things

I went to the best session on Tuesday about using iPads in my classroom. I don't have an iPad at home or at school but insure do need one now.
I have quite a bit of technology in my classroom because I am me and really live for it.
I have a problem though. I want to know everything about everything and I need to still teach my curriculum.
Finding balance between what I still have to do and dropping everything for the cool new stuff is what I really need to learn. My students deserve a cohesive curriculum not one full of new random thoughts and toys.
Time to figure out how to blend all the parts.
