tan or dirt

When you work at a garden center on the weekends to supplement your teaching salary you become a very tired person when you get home. Today I came home and thought I might have gotten a little bit of a tan. This is ridiculous because I am very fair and red headed. I think it may just be a fine layer of dirt. Only a shower will tell the truth.
